Founded by Noelle Picone, who has two decades of experience in the field, the practice provides a personalized approach with an emphasis on developing excellent relationships and communication with clients.
Noelle Picone
Noelle Picone is the founder and president of Picone Law P.C. In 2005,
Noelle began her legal career at Belkin Burden Goldman, LLP, a boutique
real estate law firm, where she practiced for nearly twenty years and was
promoted to partner in 2015. At BBG, Noelle represented some of New
York City's largest property owners, developers and management companies
in various litigation matters, including commercial actions, landlord-tenant
disputes, and construction cases, in both Civil and Supreme Court. Noelle also
advises cooperative and condominium boards as to their rights and remedies
related to building governance and issues involving unit owners. In 2025,
Noelle left BBG to start her own law practice.
Noelle graduated magna cum laude from the State University of New York
at Cortland in 2003, where she played four years of varsity basketball, and
cum laude from Pace Law School in 2007, where she was on International Law
Review. She is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and the State
of Connecticut. Noelle has presented at the Annual Women's Real Estate
Forum and Continuing Legal Education courses. She was recognized as a
Super Lawyer from 2014 through 2025.

AREAS
Commercial & Residential Leasing
Negotiate and draft retail and office leases for both landlords and tenants. Draft residential leases for condominium owners. With extensive litigation experience, the firm focuses on drafting leases that create a strong landlord/tenant relationship and reduce the risk of a legal dispute.
Co-Op & Condo Practice
Advise and represent co-op/condo boards and property managers on issues of governance, disputes with unit owners, and general litigation. Represent developers and adjoining property owners in the negotiation and drafting of access/license agreements related to development and Local Law 11 work. When an agreement cannot be made, the firm can litigate a special proceeding under RPAPL Section 881.
Real Estate Litigation
Advocate at all stages of real estate cases, from intake to trial, including those involving breach of contract, mechanic's liens, injunctive relief, access issues and construction projects in both Civil and Supreme Court and all five boroughs.
REAL ESTATE TRANSACTIONS
Represent sellers and purchasers of single and multi-family properties, including cooperatives and condominiums.
Landlord & Tenant Disputes
Represent owners in all types of residential and commercial landlord/tenant proceedings. Represent commercial tenants in commercial landlord/tenant proceedings.
RPAPL 881 Licenses
Represents both developers and adjoining property owners in the negotiation of access/license agreements related to development and Local Law 11 work. When an agreement cannot be made, the firm can litigate a special proceeding under RPAPL Section 881.
